• Database Preparation: I am able to get a list of cool projects, artists & creators building in the web3 space daily. Once I have that, I go through the database and read the Twitter Description of each project - to find out what are they building. If it’s of interest to me, I go further and track the following signals / parameters to dig deeper into the project’s evaluation.
    • Community: Join the discord + checkout the website (if in beta phase)
      • Check for how engaged the community is - relevant exchange of messages + timely announcements / sessions from the team around product updates
      • What’s making this community unique - token gated? web3 expertise? monetary incentive?
    • Vision/goals: Check for a white paper & read through the vision & roadmap to:
      • Understand what problems they are trying to solve
      • How are they being different
      • What’s the background of founders
    • Founders: So, ideally try to understand more about the founders & chat with them
    • Industry growth: Try to map it with the general trends in the larger ecosystem & try to understand where this project would fit in
    • Competitiveness: Scout for other relevant projects in the same ecosystem & understand what they’ve been upto
